Letter to Santa

Love the chords to this song. It's really fun to play. Was inspired by all my friends who have full expectations to get engaged around Christmas time. It's more of an adult song with a classic Christmas twist but kids still get it because it's about a letter to Santa Claus about what they want for X-mas.
I’ve got a letter to Santa
I need to write
‘bout what I want for X-mas
So I’ll START OUT polite
In my letter to Santa
It needs to say
How I’ve been so good everyday
I’ve got a secret for Santa
I need to tell
So I’ll write it in a letter
To send in the mail
My secret to Santa
Needs to say why
He’ll always be my cutie pie
Bridge:
It’s hard to be perfect all the year long
I’m working 9-5 to do no wrong
So when I start to get grumpy and think only of myself
I think of this letter to Santa and his elves.
I’ve got a letter to Santa I need to send
I’m not sure how much he’s willing to spend
In my letter to Santa
It needs to say
Come on send a diamond ring my way
I’ve got a notice for Santa
Don’t waste my time
Get behind the other fellas
Who are waitin’ in line
My message to Santa
In his head must linger
That for me to stay good
I need a ring on my finger
Bridge:
It’s hard to be perfect all the year long
I’m working 9-5 to do no wrong
So when I start to get mad and don’t understand
I’m remembering the letter for the bling on my hand
I’ve got a letter to Santa
I need to write about what I want for X-mas
I’ll END polite
