GETTING IN TUNE

Are you tired of speakers that bore your audiences socks off? Leah White's "GETTING IN TUNE" workshop is designed to engage, motivate and educate about singing and playing music with children. Depending on the audience, this workshop is geared towards parents and educators. Get answers to questions like the following and more:

When do I start a child on a musical instrument?,
How do I implement music into the classroom or at home?
How to make musical instruments?
How to assess with Gardner's Theories of Multiple Intelligences
What is a gifted Child vs a talented child?
What is talent?
Music and brain development

Come away with resources, handouts and the motivation to encourage music with your children. Leah White also perform original songs with the guitar during the workshop and gives tips on how to be a successful song leader with children. Discovery Green on Thursday Evenings!: Parents can still stay in the loop to listen to new music while kiddos run around the green. Allen Hill Entertainment books live music on Thursday evenings that are free to the public. If you've been to these events, bring a blanket, snacks, sippy cups and the entire family will enjoy. Oh yea, and there is even a playground nearby for anxious kids that need to take a short intermission from the music!
